PSYC 040. Political PsychologyThis course is an intensive study of special topics in political psychology, including political orientation and partisanship, elections and voting, political intolerance and motivated reasoning, authoritarianism and liberty, and protest and activism. An emphasis will be placed on ideology; it's psychological underpinnings, functions, and consequences. An empirical research component may be included in this course. Prerequisite: PSYC 001 or permission of the instructor.
