HIST 081B. Creating ourselves: Black Women's History through Food and LiteratureBlack Women have long written themselves into existence and into the narrative of race and gender in American history. History 81B will interrogate foodways and discover the meaning of culinary traditions through the literature of Black Women writers: Morrison, Angelou, Shange among others.
