ECON 012. Game Theory and Strategic BehaviorHow should one bargain for a used car or mediate a contentious dispute? This course is an introduction to the study of strategic behavior and the field of game theory. We analyze situations of interactive decision making in which the participants attempt to predict and to influence the actions of others. We use examples from economics, business, biology, politics, sports, and everyday life. Prerequisite: ECON 001 Social sciences. 1 credit. Eligible for PEAC.
