ENGR 066. Environmental SystemsStudents will explore mathematical modeling and systems analysis of problems in the fields of water resources, water quality, air pollution, urban planning, and public health. Techniques of optimization including linear and integer programming are used as frameworks for modeling such problems. Dynamic systems simulation methods and a laboratory are included. Offered in the spring semester of alternate years. Prerequisite: Recommended: ENGR 057 or the equivalent, or the permission of the instructor. Natural sciences and engineering practicum. 1 credit.
