PHIL 019. Philosophy and Literature and FilmThis course will focus on two interrelated issues 1) the natures of literature and film, and 2) their value for human life. Close attention will be paid to the formal, structural, thematic, aesthetic, and material features of works of literary and film art. Prerequisite: First- and second-year students must complete one introductory level PHIL course before enrolling in this course. Humanities. 1 credit.
