ENVS 014A. Indigenous Peoples and Conservation This class examines a trajectory of politics and practices past to present of western conservation in relationship to Indigenous Peoples lifeways and livelihoods. The course will focus on the complex and dynamic place-oriented land stewardship of Indigenous Peoples. Emphasis is placed on Native Americans and the U.S. context.
