BIOL 115E. Plant Molecular Genetics and Biotechnology The course will investigate the technological approaches that plant scientists are using to address environmental, agricultural, and health issues. Topics will include biofuels, nutritional engineering, engineering disease and stress resistance, bioremediation, and the production of pharmaceuticals in plants. Prerequisite: BIOL 025 or any Group I course with permission of the instructor. Prerequisite Intermediate Course sucessfully completed with a grade of B (3.0) or better.
