Moving across the spheres of art, social activism, political theory, and medical anthropology, we will explore how intersectional and global approaches to gender and sexuality can reshape common-sense assumptions about social life. As a capstone seminar, students will be asked to bring their own interdisciplinary research projects. Students can expect to leave with a sharpened sense of interdisciplinary critique and practice, as well as methods for pursuing collaborative intellectual/political endeavors after graduation.
