HIST 149. Reform and Revolutions in Modern Latin America The historical problem of change-political, economic, social, and cultural-in peripheral Latin America. It emphasizes nation-building capitalist ideas, populist experiences that produced deep reformist transformations, and revolutionary processes that started very radical and over time became moderate.
