ENGL 070A. Poetry Workshop

This workshop will provide students with the knowledge and tools to confidently craft original poetry. Through close-reading modern and contemporary texts, producing weekly poems, and engaging thoughtfully with one another’s work, students will gain understanding of traditional poetic elements and forms, as well as how, why, and when to break them. Limited to 12 students.
