SOCI 046C. Research in Queer & Trans Communities (M) This course will cover 1) existing social science research on LGBTQ+ people, communities, and issues, and 2) the process of conducting research in and with queer and trans communities. We will discuss research questions and design, the challenges of collecting data among this population, the politics and ethics of researching queer and trans people and communities. Students will learn about a variety of research methods, and design and conduct their own research projects. Methods course. Social sciences. 1 credit. Fall 2027 Laurison.
