ENGR 006. MechanicsThis course covers fundamental areas of statics and dynamics. Elementary concepts of deformable bodies are explored, including stress-strain relations, flexure, torsion, and internal pressure. Laboratory work includes a MATLAB workshop, experiments on deformable bodies, and a truss-bridge team design competition. Prerequisite: MATH 015 is required. PHYS 003 is strongly recommended.
