PEAC 113. Global Health and ConflictANTH 114 This honors seminar will explore the intersection between peace and conflict studies and medical anthropology. We will examine the impact of conflict on health (mental and physical) as well as health-interventions in conflict settings around the world. Sub-themes include international aid, health infrastructures, global health interventions, public health emergency policymaking, the role of doctors and medical professionals amidst political violence, psychosocial humanitarianism, gender-based violence programs, responses to migration flows, economic development, disability and caregiving, and healing and ecoanxiety after natural disasters.
