PHIL 012B. LogicAn introduction to the principles of deductive logic with equal emphasis on the syntactic and semantic aspects of logical systems. This course will cover the same amount of formal logic as PHIL 012A , but with less additional philosophical material, so that more time can be devoted to mastering the technical and formal apparatus. Recommended for students who are intending to major or minor in Philosophy, and for non-freshmen who have taken at least one prior Philosophy course.
