LING 050. Syntax (W)

The main objective of this course is to familiarize students with the investigation of syntactic structure in natural languages. Students learn the rudiments of syntactic analysis and argumentation within generative syntactic theory. A major purpose is to introduce students to the study of language as an empirical science.
