BIOL 043. Introduction to Python for Biologists.Having some programming skills is a huge advantage in the Biological Sciences as it empowers you to make your computer do repetitive and/or complicated data analysis tasks for you. It also helps prevent human bias and errors in data handling and analysis. This course is a basic hands-on introduction to programming in Python using biological data. Python is a widely used, free, and easy-to-understand programming language. This course assumes no prior computational skills. Prerequisite: BIOL 001 and BIOL 002 1 credit.
