EDUC 064. Comparative EducationThis course examines key issues and themes in education as they play out in local and global contexts around the world. We use case studies to explore the roles of local, national, and international actors and organizations in the construction of educational policy and practice. Topics will include immigration and schooling, equity, curriculum goals and constructs, and education in areas of conflict. Prerequisite: EDUC 014 or permission of the instructor. Social sciences.
