HIST 084. Gender, Science, and TechnologyThis course is an introduction to feminist approaches to science and technology within the fields of History of Science and Science and Technology Studies (STS). We will engage with feminist critiques of scientific knowledge and technologies while exploring past and present intersections between science, race, sex, and colonial/postcolonial politics. Concentrations: Method/Theory; Science, Medicine, and Environment Corequisite: Preference given to students who have taken courses with ANTH, GSST, HIST, SOAN, and/or SOCI. Social sciences. 1 credit.
