PHIL 024. Theory of KnowledgeThis course selects key texts in the theory of knowledge by epistemologists such as Socrates, Plato, Sextus Empircus, Hume, Moore, and Wittgenstein on topics that include that nature and extent of human knowledge, disagreement, faith, and self-knowledge, among others. Prerequisite: First- and second-year students must complete one introductory level PHIL course before enrolling in this course. Humanities. Writing course. 1 credit.
