PHIL 113. Topics in EpistemologyWhat is knowledge? Can we have it? If not, why not? If yes, how? What does it mean to have evidence, justification or reasons for ones beliefs? How rational or irrational are we? Can we have a priori, "armchair" knowledge? Is cognition essentially social? We will discuss classic and contemporary answers to such questions.
