

PHYS 017. Mathematical Methods of PhysicsA halfsemester survey of mathematical techniques useful in physics. Topics include eigenvalue problems, Fourier analysis, solutions to ordinary and partial differential equations, special functions, the theory of residues, and numerical methods.
