PSYC 048. Gender and Psychopathology Why are certain clinical syndromes, such as depression, overrepresented among women, while others, such as aggression, are more common among men? This course explores gender differences in emotion socialization, coping styles, and mental illness, including depression, eating disorders, posttraumatic stress, aggressive disorders, and substance abuse.
