SOCI 028E. Methods of Social Exploration
This course is a hands-on introduction to a wide range of different techniques for investigating social and cultural life, including; archival history; interviews; participant observation; analysis of interactions, conversations, texts, and media images; audio and video recording; sample surveys and questionnaires; statistical databases; Geographic Information Systems, and network mapping.
