ENGR 074. Semiconductor Devices and Circuits This course explores the operation and application of semiconductor devices, including diodes, transistors (bipolar and field effect) and other devices. This includes terminal characteristics of semiconductor devices and circuits, including small signal models of single and multi-transistor amplifiers, and transistor-level modeling of operational amplifiers. The course also examines the speed and input-output characteristics of logic devices, the design of power circuits and problems of stability and oscillation in electronic circuits. Prerequisite: ENGR 011 or permission of the instructor. 1 credit. Not offered 2014-2015. http://www.swarthmore.edu/engineering Engineering
