LITR 030A. Literature of Resistance This course explores Arabic texts that take a stand against contemporary political, social, or economic realities. The theme of resistance-against colonialism, state oppression, social codes, and literary norms-will shape our discussions. New narratives inspired by the Arab uprisings will receive special focus.
