FMST 095. Film Lab: Creativity and Innovation in Filmmaking

This course is a hands-on practicum in which students take on specific roles from pre- through post-production phases. Swarthmore resident Lee Sternthal (writer, producer, photographer and director), whose credits include Tron: Legacy (story) and The Words (co-writer and co-director), will provide the storyline for this cinema lab. First section in spring 2024 (FMST 095 A) is on post-production of class-produced film and will be offered before spring break. Second section (FMST 095 B) is on “making the pitch” and will be offered after spring break. Each segment is worth 0.5 credits, students can sign up for one or both.
Prerequisite: Instructor approval required.
