ECON 101. Advanced Microeconomics This seminar explores the tools and topics of modern microeconomic theory. Topics include consumer and producer theory, optimization and duality, general equilibrium and welfare economics, market power, game theory, risk and uncertainty, and asymmetric information. This seminar is constructed to enhance students’ intellectual exploration of the world, expand their capacity for analytical and abstract thinking, and prepare them for further study and research in economics.
