ENGL 070A. Poetry Workshop

This workshop will provide students with the knowledge and tools to confidently craft original poetry. Through close-reading modern and contemporary texts, producing weekly poems, and engaging thoughtfully with one another’s work, students will gain an understanding of traditional poetic elements and forms; as well as how, why, and when to break them. Limited to 12 students.
