What is the purpose and meaning of life? What constitutes “a life well lived”? Seminar themes include religion and personal and social change; understandings of the sacred; suffering, death, love, justice, healing, fear, and hope. Readings include Gospel of Matthew, Gospel of Thomas, Thich Nhat Hanh, Malcolm X, Robin Wall Kimmerer, Bryan Stevenson, Julia Watts Belser, Valerie Kaur.
