BIOL 014. Cell Biology

A study of the cellular components and molecular processes that occur in living cells, with a focus on eukaryotic cells. Includes cellular motility, protein trafficking, signal transduction, and intercellular communication. Laboratory focuses on student-designed research projects.
Prerequisite: BIOL 001 and BIOL 002, and previous or concurrent enrollment in CHEM 010; or permission of the instructor.
Natural sciences and engineering practicum.
One laboratory period per week.
1 credit.
