DANC 040. Contemporary Modern I

Contemporary Modern I is an introductory dance course designed for movers of all backgrounds who are curious about contemporary modern dance techniques. No previous dance experience required. Students are encouraged to explore their capacity for movement through fundamentals, improvisation, and phrase work evoking new ways of thinking, moving, problem-solving and multitasking. If taken for academic credit, concert attendance and two papers are required.
Graded CR/NC.
0.5 credit or P.E.
