ECON 041. Public Economics This course focuses on government expenditure, tax, and debt policy. A major part of the course is devoted to an analysis of current policy issues in their institutional and theoretical contexts. The course will be of most interest to students having a concern for economic policy and its interaction with politics. Prerequisite: ECON 001 . Recommended: ECON 011 . Social sciences. 1 credit.
