   |  HIST 006B. The Modern Middle East This survey class introduces students to Middle Eastern history from the late eighteenth century to the present. We will cover the major political, social, and cultural developments in the region during this period and examine how Middle Eastern societies and cultures have been represented over the last two centuries.
