BIOL 046. Genetics & Cell Biology of Development.


This course will focus on fundamental concepts in cell biology and regulatory genetics. Students will also gain competency with the logic underlying the design of experiments and interpretation of resulting data. Students will use these concepts and competencies to explore the transformation of fertilized eggs into complex organisms. 

This course can be counted towards the Biology major however it cannot be used to satisfy the Group I, II, or III requirements for the Biology major because it does not include a separate laboratory. Students may not take both BIOL 024 and BIOL 046 for credit.
Prerequisite: BIOL 001 and BIOL 002 or permission of the Instructor. Other prerequisites to be determined.
