LING 050. Syntax (W)

The main objective of this course is to familiarize students with the scientific study of syntactic structure in human language as part of the broader enterprise of the study of the human language faculty. Students learn the rudiments of syntactic analysis and argumentation within the Principles & Parameters/Minimalist framework in generative syntactic theory.
