LITR 037G. The Holocaust: History, Representation, and Culture (Cross-listed as GMST 037 and HIST 037 ) Seventy-five years after the Holocaust, and despite an enormous amount of research and testimony, the genocide of European Jewry continues to generate compelling interpretive questions. This course is a multidisciplinary exploration of the Holocaust with special attention paid to forms of memory, commemoration, and artistic representations through the study of fiction, poetry, film, memoirs, and historical scholarship.
