Subjects covered include microfoundations of macroeconomics, growth theory, rational expectations, and New Classical and New Keynesian macroeconomics. Extensive problem solving, with an emphasis on the qualitative analysis of dynamic systems. Prerequisite: ECON 011, ECON 021, and multivariable calculus (MATH 033, MATH 034, or MATH 035 or with permission of the instructor).
