Directing II requires students to apply the exercises from THEA 035. Directing I: Directors’ Lab to a variety of scene assignments. These will address a variety of theatrical genres and various approaches to dramatic text (improvisation, cutting, and/or augmentation of play scripts, adaptation of nondramatic texts for performance, etc.).
